Art Holidays In Beautiful Creuse 'La Vallee des Peintres' France
During your stay, you will be immersed into the calm and beautiful area that surrounds us here in Creuse.
The Guest House and Gite (Chez Beaumont) are set in the village of Saint-Sébastien, which is very close to so many of the beautiful vistas known as ‘La Vallee des Peintres’, made famous by the works of renowned artists like Claude Monet, Joseph Jeannot, Armand Guillaumin, Alfred Smith and others; who spent time here painting the unique settings and landscapes of the rivers Creuse and Sedelle.
We will travel to local scenic spaces where you can draw and paint on at least 3 days of the 5 day course (weather permitting). Equipment will be taken with you, and picnic lunches and drinks are provided for you whilst you’re there.
At Chez Beaumont, there is a lovely studio, where you will be able to continue to work on your art. Glyn will help and guide you in drawing and painting techniques, aiming always to work at your pace. Clare, your host, will be serving you with traditional French meals at the guest house. Lunches will be picnic style, whilst away from the guest house.
On Sunday evening your tutor, will spend time with you discussing the following day’s events, and the best options for the days ahead during your stay.
You will find that your days will be catered towards your comfort and enjoyment, and it will be our pleasure to know that we have made your stay memorable.
All skills are welcomed; our course is aimed at meeting your personal needs, and so our flexibility allows all artists to work to their own pace.
