Old paint brushes. Bristles pointing in all directions, brittle or blunt – usually, our first instinct is to throw them out.

But even if they’re no longer any use when it comes to painting straight lines, those old brushes still have some life left in them. Use them for backgrounds or priming. Or take some scissors and trim the bristles. Feel free to play with the old paint brushes and see what happens!
