The Provence is a region in France which extends from the bank of the lower Rhône River to the Italian Border, has a beautiful coastline at the Mediterranean Sea, and the great mountains of the Alps in its north. That are already more than enough features to make a beautiful French landscape, but, what is most associated with the French Provence are not the grand mountain peaks or the sunny beaches, but bright violett lavender fields and sleepy, peaceful mountain villages. You will be able to find all of that somewhere in the large region of French Provence, but you have to decide where to go.
