South West France

South-West France has some fantastic spaces to offer. The Atlantic Coastline is known for long, sandy beaches, especially beautiful in spots away from the bigger towns, where the area is almost untouched. The lovely ports of La Rochelle and Rochefort are popular places at the coast and always worth a visit. But also the inland has its own charms. The landscape changes noticeably, depending on where you are going. There is the wide, flat land in neighborhood to the coastline, and the very green area around Bordeaux, where you will find wide forests and lots of vineyards. Whereas further south, around Toulouse, there will be historic, medieval towns and grand mountains of the Pyrenees.
