Fyn

Those who visit the island of Fyn are likely to come around the town of Odense and its greatest son, the poet Hans-Christian Andersen. Several museums and exhibitions remind of this famous artist, who is known all over the world and who has written far more than "just" fairy tales. Moreover, Fyn offers some well-preserved half-timbered towns, such as Faaborg and Kerteminde, the famous water castle Egeskov and many other old manors. On the various beaches you can relax or cool yourself down in the water. Further, the inevitable golf course is always very close.
