Come to rural France for a relaxing and inspiring week of painting, good food and good wine. All in the setting of the beautifully renovated 18th Century Manoir of Le Seguinet.
Surrounded by the rural landscape, French Charm, Old Bastide Towns, and Medieval Churches and Chateaux of the area, there is no shortage of inspiration. All though Le Seguinet’s 18 acres of grounds offers all the subject matter you could want for a week of painting.
This week is lead by experienced tutor, Tom Shepherd. It is suitable for any experience level and all mediums. Tom regular tutors painters of all abilities and is always focused on providing quality one on one time to really progress your art, in the way you want to!
There is a mixture of painting on the grounds and taking trips out to local painting spots.
The ratio is always gauged on the wants of the individual groups. During painting time the atmosphere is laid back but productive; with plenty of downtime to do as you please. Whether that be more painting, lounging by the pool or taking a stroll.
Le Seguinet offers a variety of different accommodation options, non painting partners are very welcome. The price includes full home cooked dinner, and breakfast. A few hours are usually left for lunch and down time, and lunch is self catered. There is a very well stocked shop in the village, just a 5 minute walk away. We often eat out for lunch at least once whilst out painting.
The main manoir boasts a swimming pool, patio and outside eating area, large kitchen, 3 seperate lounge rooms and is full of character.
