Architecture and Perspective - Watercolour Pen and Ink

16.07.2021 - 20.07.2021 South West France | Jo-Anne Surridge watercolour, painting 950 GBP

This weeks course is for anyone who loves painting form and texture and who has an eye for architecture. During this week we explore some of the ancient stone work in and around the vines and also have a chance to sketch in the medieval Bastide town of Sainte Foy la Grande.

You can choose your medium from Watercolour, pen, Ink or Graphite or even Acrylic on board or canvas.

This course suits all abilities.

An evening excursion to the local night market is a highlight of the week.

Your host on this creative holiday is the talented and welcoming Jo, whose experience covers all forms of art; from painting with different mediums, to art restoration, conservation, bookbinding, and art history. Her pride and passion is helping you find your inner creativity; at any level you may be at.

Her philosophy is that she herself is learning every time she takes on a new group, and loves the interaction with like minded people. Learning is a big focus of her holiday, not just techniques and painting styles, but spiritually and emotionally. She has created an interactive holiday for students to learn from each other, bounce new ideas around, and share various painting techniques.
