How do we paint faces? In this course you will learn how to create a portrait using acrylic or oil paints.
This course offers the opportunity to devote yourself to portrait painting with either acrylic or oil paints. It is suitable for participants who have either already worked with oil or acrylic paints, or who have already dealt with portrait drawing.
The lecturer demonstrates her technique, which is partly based on the technique of the old masters, but allows a more free final design. After the preliminary drawing and loose grisaille (underpainting), a first glaze is applied. On the second day, you can continue working directly with oil or acrylic paints.
In this three-day course, the participants can work from their own photo templates, but these should be selected beforehand together with the course instructor. A model will also be available on request.
Target group of this course: This course is aimed at beginners with basic drawing skills as well as advanced learners.
