Beatrice Daniels: "For me, drawing and painting are not an art in narrow sense, but became and still are becoming a way of seeing and understanding the world: a philosophy of life and a way of being. Observations of aspects and impressions of nature and cultures and the artistic expression of 'oneself' and the communication with the 'other' are keys to the 'quest' for a way of being in the world.Each deep observation of aspects of nature, a face, an object, a place, captured in line, form, or color, seems each time the unveiling of a mystery."
I would be delighted to serve as your coach for 'Plein Air Painting' in June of 2023 in the Hidden Jewel of the island of Homeros, Chios.
During our time together, I will introduce you to several topics:
- 'Intuitive Action Painting in the Early Morning'
- Movements with the Hand and Body as a Warm-Up
- 'Meditative/Mindful Painting' in Group
- Synaesthesia and Aesthetics in a Natural Environment
- The Basics of Visualization with Watercolors of Personal Perception
- The Philosophy of Landscape
- The Concept of 'Carnet de Voyage'
We will also work to find inspiration and opportunities to sketch/paint on different picturesque and historically important sites on the island.

Tuesday - Day 4

Wednesday - Day 5

As for pricing, we are offering double rooms at €650 per person (preferably when two people book together) or €860 for 1 person. Studios with kitchen are available for €720 per person (when two people book together) or €1040 for 1 person. Double View Studios for 2 or 3 people are priced at €755 per person (2 pers.) or €600 per person (3 pers.).
We have two payment options: a) Full payment or b) Payment in 2 installments, with the first payment being 20% upon registration by bank transfer or Visa to secure your place and accommodation if required by you. The remaining 80% must be paid by June 1st by bank transfer or cash upon arrival.
