A glorious sketching weekend in one of the oldest cities in France! Take in riverside & canalside views, magnificent architecture, café culture, wonderful food and the warmest of welcomes from Candy and Charles at the stunning Maison Jullian in Béziers. Join for one or two fun workshops to sketch in the city and learn a range of ink and watercolour techniques. This weekend is suitable for people with some or no art experience and materials can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.
Where to stay:
Maison Jullian – this stunning residence is a restored 19th century castle on the outskirts of Béziers overlooking the Canal du Midi. Bed & breakfast accommodation is available in a choice of 3 magnificent rooms with high ceilings and period features and lovely views. All rooms have a private bathroom. Evening meals are also available, and Charles is an incredible chef, so you can be sure of incredible food sourcing seasonal produce and selected regional wines.
