A glorious sketching weekend in one of the oldest cities in France! Take in riverside & canalside views, magnificent architecture, café culture, wonderful food and the warmest of welcomes from Candy & Charles at Maison Jullian. Sketch in the city and learn a range of ink and watercolour techniques. This weekend is suitable for people with some or no art experience and materials can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.
Where to stay:
Maison Jullian – a superbly renovated château adjacent to the Canal du Midi and a short walk from the station and city centre. Room prices start from 150€ per night – email Candy at info@maisonjullian.com to check availability and to book!

Fly to Béziers with Ryanair or Montpellier, Toulouse or Perpignan with other airlines
Closest rail station: Béziers within walking distance of Maison Jullian & the city centre
What to bring:
Sketchbook, Portable sketching stool, Basic watercolour travel set, Watercolour brush, HB/B/2B pencil, eraser, sharpener. If you need to use a sketch kit on loan, this can also be arranged in advance.
Additional notes:
There will be some walking up and down hills and steps, so please wear comfortable footwear and bring a waterproof in the event of inclement weather.
