Would you like to discover or develop your own painting and drawing qualities in peace?
With a maximum size group of 8 and with an experienced art teacher on hand to offer individual support and instruction it is ideal for those who would like personal feedback and guidance. This also makes the workshop suitable for all levels.
Everyone can learn how to draw and paint from life. If you can look, you can draw and paint.
The drawing techniques and painting techniques that you can learn from Anita, offer sufficient support to create your drawings and paintings with confidence and joy. As a graduate teacher at the Amsterdam University of Art, Anita is also happy to accompany students (to be) of art academies.
During the classes you will get several assignments corresponding to your level and wishes and assignments just above your level. During the week you can experiment with different painting and drawing techniques as well as different painting and drawing materials and subjects. You can find exactly what suits you as a drawer or painter.
As much as possible we will draw and paint outdoors at La Forêt Souriante or on location.
This creative holiday is the perfect holiday if you like to be creative, be in nature, stay in stylish decorated accommodations, eat delicious homemade vegetarian meals and have a relaxed and fun holiday.

General information
Nothing beats a delicious, healthy meal in the great outdoors with good company. The carefully prepared meals are included in the price. From the introductory dinner on the day of arrival to the farewell breakfast on the last day.
At La Forêt Souriante you will stay in one of the two comfortable gîtes, in one of the two charming chambres d'hôte or in one of the two glamping tents, all with private bathrooms. The large studio sits in the former stables, where we have the art classes and where in the afternoon you can work in private if you like. In every bedroom you will find coffee or tea
making facilities. Sit, stroll, relax, hike in our 11 acres of woodland and enjoy.
You will be amazed at the amount of wild life on our doorstep. We have more than enough comfortable garden furniture for you to observe nature or to relax and read a good book. We also have a wonderful view of the Castle of Najac, an inspiring scene!
The area around Najac is known as a very attractive hiking area. Join us on a varied hike with wonderful views and don’t forget your bathing suits, there are some lovely spots to swim in the river or to kayak on the river.
Najac is one of the plus beaux villages of France, but not the only charming picturesque village near La Forêt Souriante. We are happy to share our favourite places with you!

The dome is an attractive glamping single tente with a floor area of no less than 20 m2.
The luxurious bathroom with shower and separate toilet is located in a separate building.
