Belinda Biggs

On leaving school, having an interest in art, Belinda started work in the printing industry as a screen printer and graphic artist. In 1986 she returned to England, while there she worked for several printing companies who supplied everything from labels to curtains, to fabric for top 'Chelsea designers' and even royalty.
She now lives on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie NSW Australia and creates in watercolour, pen & wash, graphite,
coloured pencils, pastels and the occasional oils
Belinda is a keen member of the Central Coast Watercolour Society NSW, Botanical Art Society of Australia, The American Watercolour Society (New York), and The Newcastle Art Society NSW.

She exhibits several times a year and has won many awards for her painting and drawing, including selection for the prestigious 'Focus on Nature XIII' and 'Focus on Nature XV' with the New York Sate Museum , the 'Mortimer Art Prize' (the very best in realisim) and the Margaret Flockton Scientific Illustration Award at the herbarium NSW and has her works in private and public collections worldwide. Belinda has also been included in the publication Who's Who in Visual Arts - 50 Masters of Realistic Imagery.

She is currently teaching painting and drawing for the Tuggerah Lakes Kincumber Community College. Painting, drawing and botanical illustration classes at Morriset NSW.
Also international workshops in Umbria Italy, Rarotonga Cook Islands, Norfolk Island, India, France and New Zealand.
