Cosima Obringer
My name is Cosima Obringer, but I also have a Chinese name, 小星星 (Xiao Xingxing), which means "little star." I am an artist who works under the title "Adventures in Asia." I work with two techniques: the Asian brush and scissors. I love ink and paper and I am deeply involved in traditional Chinese art. I study hand-made Asian papers, brushes, and stone mills. I also paint my papers with gouache and use them for collages. I am fascinated by Asian culture and history and I want to convey this through my art. I have already participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe and Asia and I have been reviewed positively in the press. I am always working on new projects and I am excited to see where my artistic journey will take me.
