Hamish Scott-Brown

Hamish is a highly experienced, published and professionally qualified photographer with a 30 year history in Photography and University Education. He is the founder of ‘Photographic Journeys’ and a self-confessed adventure seeker.
He is a mentor and qualifications judge with the Guild of Photographers gaining Professional Photographic Fellowships with the British Institute of Professional Photography FBIPP, the Master Photographers’ Association FMPA, The Society of International Commercial & Industrial Photographers, FSICIP and holds an Associateship (ARPS) with the Royal Photographic Society.
Hamish is also a LoxleyColour Ambassador where he advises and assists the design of new Fine-Art products for the professional photographic marketplace. He is passionate about contemporary and modern documentary photography gaining his MA in Photography in 2010 with the published and award-winning work ‘Manicomio’.
A two times finalist (2017 & 2018) in the coveted Pink Lady International Food Photographer of the Year Award with his social documentary and travel work he is a passionate travel photographer with an exceptional eye for colour, variety and successful images that win awards.

I specialise in travel photography with a real passion of social and documentary portraiture. I’m a mentor and current qualifications judge with the MPA (Master Photographers Association) and hold Fellowships with both the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and the Master Photographers’ Association (MPA). I am a LoxleyColour Ambassador and passionate about contemporary and documentary photography.
