Teresa Costa Duarte
Painting has been Teresa’s passion since her youth, when she attended art classes at New Hall school, in Chelmsford, England. She is now an artist who likes to draw, but her main technique is painting in watercolour and oil.
The six year stay in an English school, with long hours spent in art classes, helped Teresa to develop different art skills and gave her confidence to follow art as a career.
After finishing her art A ‘level, Teresa returned to Portugal, her home country. When she became a mother, she decided to create her own business of children’s decorating articles.
These handmade products were designed by Teresa, produced at her own little factory, and sold to all the best children’s stores in Portugal, Spain and France.
In 2002, Teresa began taking drawing more seriously and joined art lessons in her hometown. Two years later she started painting and soon she was doing exhibitions and selling her own work.
Teresa is now organizing painting holidays in Portugal, where she hopes to create relaxing and enjoyable holidays for those who like painting or who are just beginning to discover the magic of it.
