Therefore, she does not aim to produce photorealistic copies. Her painting style combines the controlled precision of a graduated architectural engineer with lax, accidential spontaneity.
She developed from studying architecture and became architectural illustrator. Later she developed further and found herself more or less as a general watercolour painter without a fixed style.
Most essential to her paintings is the search. Thus, her paintings represent her love for watercolours in combination with a variety that is characterized by a mixture of essence and atmosphere.
